Every day we receive more concerning news that people in the East of Ukraine must hide in basements from shelling that happens in day and night. The main everyday activities, such as collecting firewood in the forest, became extremely dangerous due to the presence of minefields and  other explosive remnants of war. Many of those who are injured or have chronic illness still do not have enough medicines. People continue to die. It has been three years since the start of the conflict, yet there remains a great need for humanitarian aid. Some people live in the areas cut off from basic everyday services or markets. Therefore,  a lot of impoverished residents of the region need to find new ways to earn a living. Thousands of houses need to be repaired or reconstructed and a lot of important built systems of water, gas or power supply need to be renewed.

Our team works with the most vulnerable groups, helping them to renew the damaged infrastructure, which is critically important for everyday living  (e.g. the systems of water and gas supply), providing the necessary material aid and psychological support and participating in the World Food Program projects.
