The city was liberated in summer 2014 but it is still located in the frontline zone. Civilians are used to the war and practically do not pay attention to shelling and shooting on the outskirts of the city. Lately, Avdiivka has become one of the only cities where it is possible to hear combat taking place during the daytime.

The Fund is constantly providing humanitarian aid to the Serdyuk family of two children. During another work trip to Avdiivka, we delivered food, clothes for girls and school stationery to the family, which children will need when they start school.
